Coast Walk Trail

Overview

The trail can be started and ended at three separate locations. Parking near The Cave Store is the most accessible with the most room. The other parking areas only accommodate one to three cars, which are typically full. As oriented in this description the trail begins directly to the left of The Cave Store and proceeds along the rocky Pacific coast. You'll gain a little elevation, but the trail is very well-maintained and easy to navigate.

This trail typically goes unnoticed to the crowds of La Jolla Cove, as it is sandwiched between rocky cliffs and large homes, but offers some of the most spectacular views in Southern California. Well-placed benches offer inviting places to rest and take in the vistas. The dirt path ends at a very small parking area and then proceeds along a paved street to it's terminus.

Overall an exceptional way to spend a few minutes if you are ever in the La Jolla area.
