Minnewawa Truck Trail

Overview

This is Minnewawa Truck Trail that some incorrectly refer to Otay Mesa Truck Trail. It's an unpaved, well-maintained fire road, shared by trucks, ATVs, dirt bikes, mountain bikers, and Border Patrol. Park at the Pio Pic Country Store and the trailhead is just off to the right (if you're facing east). <br><br>Minnewawa Truck Trail connects to Otay Mesa Truck Trail at Dog House Junction. Continue south Past the junction to reach Otay Mesa Peak. <br> <br>The ride is about 6.2 miles long, all climbing with average 9 to 15% incline. The view at the top is awesome overlooking Jamul, Tijuana, and Chula Vista.
