This ride is an awesome combination of work and play. It starts with a workout grind, and ends with a "pin-it" downhill trail.

Start out at the Harmony Ridge Market and head down The Scott's Flat Lake Trail. After that dumps out on Casci Ranch Rd. below, go left and start the uphill grind. The road starts as paved cement for about 1.5 miles before going to gravel and then eventually to dirt. After climbing up the road for about 5 miles, you'll intersect with Highway 20. Cross over the highway and pick up Pioneer Trail heading west, or left.

There are lots of trail markers along the way and even posted on some trees. Sometimes it's just a forestry logo and other times it's a directional sign. It's not easy to get lost as the trail always parallels the highway. At this point it's all downhill, so grab a tall gear and blaze down Pioneer Trail to the Harmony Ridge Market.
Look for this sign to mark the entrance to the fun downhill segment!
