San Clemente Canyon begins with a creek crossing over a small bridge. The trail comes to a highway overpass where it narrows and travels parallel to a wash. After passing under the highway, the trail winds through tall Oaks and thick brush. The main trail continues east to the highway and a turn-around point. <br><br>On the return trip, there are 3 trails off of the main trail. Cobb Trail, Kroc Trail, and Biltmore Trail. Each of these trails ascends south through tall Oaks and brush. Each one has a fast, flowy downhill on the return. The main trail takes you north to the paved bike path and parking area.
