Start from the parking lot just off Hwy 20 near the entrance to the White Cloud campground. Follow signs to Pioneer Trail down a dirt road around the south side of the campground. You'll know you're on the correct road as you pass the small campground amphitheater.

At the first Y intersection under the power lines, take the road to the left. Keep an eye out for the signs for Pioneer Trail, which is the start of the singletrack trail. The start of this trail is about a 1/2 mile from the parking lot. Ride for about two miles to a wide open gravel area, and keep relatively straight to find Pioneer Trail again.

At Skillman Horse Camp, go straight, then find the Pioneer Trail again. Within a few hundred feet there will be a Y junction in the trail. Pioneer Trail goes towards the left and the start of Hallelujah Trail is to the right. Follow the signs to stay on this trail as it passes dirt roads. After a fun switchback section, then a long descent, there will be a junction with a dirt road. Go right for about 20 ft up that road, then take a sharp onto Hallelujah Trail. After a bit of a climb, you'll end up at the same wide open gravel area previously passed before Skillman. This is the end of Hallelujah Trail.

Take the trail to the left, which brings you back to Pioneer Trail for the return home. After about 1.5 miles there will be a Y in the trail. Either way returns back, though the trail to the left is less steep of a climb.
