Long Ridge Trail

Overview

The Long Road Trail begins at the Stegner Bench (named after the famous author). From there the flowly singletrack heads into the trees to encounter several tight and rocky switchbacks. The 15 MPH speed limit is enforced with radar guns but 15 MPH is still a fun ride.

Mastering the switchbacks is challenging for intermediate riders, but worth the time! Near the end is a steep descent on an old logging skid road that is also challenging. Sit waaaay back to keep the rear tire on the ground and have a blast! End the trail at the junction with Peters Creek Trail.

Turn right and climb to the pond and up the Peters Creek switchbacks to the ridge for a complete loop.
