This is a great trail that traverses across beautiful rolling terrain. Riders will enjoy letting the brakes go and getting some speed on the many fast and fun downhill sections, and will also enjoy coasting through the mostly-level sections of trail. To keep things interesting, there are a few short up hill sections along the way, but nothing too arduous.

Be sure to take in the beautiful scenery as you travel along the side of the mountain. All too soon, the trail descends to the creek bottom and back to the paved road. Don't be too sad though, you're on your way to more great singletrack!

About half of the time riding is spent among oak trees, while the other half follows along grassy open space. There is a section at that end that is uphill, but it's shady and not too long.
Nice example of the Grizzly Gulch Trail.
Coit Road's wide, gravel surface makes for a nice spin.
