This is one of the friendliest climbs at Coe. It was re-routed a few years ago and while the trail is still a big climb, it is pretty gradual. There are great views at the top and it easily links into the Spike Jones Trail for a fairly quick (in Coe terms) loop.

For a longer ride continue past onto Steer Ridge Road to Wilson Peak for a descent on the WIlson Peak Trail or Serpentine Trail to Grizzly Gulch Trail and back. Of course Henry Coe is a big place so you can go as far and long as your legs will take you.
Head up Jim Donnelly Trail on smooth singletrack.
Switchback just beofre the halfway point.
Look out across the hills for spectacular views from the Jim Donnelly Trail.
Time for a break after climbing for awhile. Oh yeah, great views abound.
