Santa Teresa County Park has a large picnic area, with restrooms, parking, and other facilities, in the center of the park. One can drive to this picnic area. Alternatively, one can hike to this picnic area on the Pueblo Trail.<br><br>The Mine Trail is a major trail that cuts through Santa Teresa Park. The Pueblo Trail provides access to the central picnic area from Mine Trail.<br><br>The Pueblo Trail starts from the western section of Mine Trail, runs along the road to the central picnic area, goes around the picnic area, and ends near the eastern section of Mine Trail. Pueblo Trail goes through the beautiful grass covered Santa Teresa Hills. Small stands of trees dot these hills. <br><br>To the northeast, the Diablo Range, including Mt. Hamilton (4,265 ft.), can be seen. The Santa Cruz Mountains and their highest peak, Loma Prieta (3,786 ft.), can be seen to the southwest.
