This is more fun down than up, needless to say. The top third is relatively neglected, which actually makes it more interesting. It's really narrow, with depressed tread in places and almost overgrown in others, with switchbacks and turns that come up quickly out of the brush. The lower two thirds are more standard buffed trail, but again with some switchbacks and other turns. It's almost all through an oak forest, providing shade and that mystery about what is coming next out of the obscurity.
