Kelp Forest Overlook Trail

Overview

The trail begins just past the Old Point Loma Lighthouse to the south. It is a quick loop that will lead you to a nice covered overlook where you'll enjoy endless Pacific views, as well as a large kelp forest growing a couple hundred yards offshore. The awning provides nice shade while you take in all of the posted information and enjoy a nice rest on one of the park benches.
