Lagoon Trail

Overview

The Lagoon Trail is a fun extension off of the Briones Crest Trail on the north side of Briones Regional Park. While this trail isn't a walk in the park, it does have some nice views. The first mile is a steady downhill on a wide path through open fields. After passing the junction with a short spurt to the north (that dead ends at private property) the trail turns east, and you'll start to climb back to the Briones Crest Trail.

This part of the trail heads through the woods which offer some nice shade on hotter days. In the last quarter mile, the trail will head past a small pond called Sindicich Lagoon where the park's resident cows like to hang out.
