This is the only section of the Bay Area Ridge Trail that passes through a cemetery! The trail segment was dedicated so it can eventually link future Ridge Trail from the south (near Skyline Boulevard) and the San Francisco Peninsula Watershed Trail. A short gap now exists between the cemetery and the watershed.
