If you come up Vargas Plateau by Cliff Trail, passing a cattle gate, you'll need to make a left to the top of the hill. It is a dead-end but it's pretty nice to see Fremont City from here. You can see both Lake Elizabeth and Quarry Lake from above.<br><br>Come back down and continue to hike to the east side of the park, you'll connect to Upper Ranch Trail and Golden Eagle Trail.
