The trail starts off the Highland Ridge Trail not far from the Morgan Territory Road. It follows Marsh Creek for a few hundred yards through oak forest before it enters open grassland and ascends up to the Bob Walker Ridge. Coyote Trail joins on the right at 0.5 miles. A cattle gate is at 0.6 miles. The trail ends at the junction with Volvon Trail.
