East Trail

Overview

From the Olympia Trail, the East Trail climbs steadily through a mix of grassland and forest with views that get better and better with every step. At about 0.5 miles, the East Trail comes out onto an open ridge with excellent views. The junction with the Zippe Trail is about 0.75 miles along the trail and heads down to the right. Continue up the steep slope to the summit of Mount Olympia where you'll have even more outstanding views.
