Feather Falls Scenic Trail - Upper Route

Overview

This is an alternate way to reach Feather Falls. About a quarter mile from the Feather Falls Trailhead, this trail branches off to the right. It is less steep than Feather Falls Scenic Trail - Lower Route and offers a few more views across the valley to Bald Rock Dome. At 1.5 miles, you reach a wooden bridge across Frey Creek. There's a nice place to get some rest at 2.1 miles with a good panoramic view. The trail keeps descending slowly after that and joins with Feather Falls Scenic Trail - Lower Route to continue to the falls.
