Grizzly Gulch Trail

Overview

This is a great trail that traverses some beautiful rolling terrain. Hikers will enjoy taking in the views along through the mostly-level sections of trail. The trail is smooth and the grades aren't too steep so you can easily enjoy the scenery along the way. To keep things interesting, there are a few short uphill sections thrown in as well, but nothing too strenuous.

Be sure to take in the beautiful scenery as you travel along the side of the mountain. All too soon, the trail descends to the creek bottom and back to the paved road. Don't be too sad though, as you can easily extend your hike on more great singletrack in the park!

About half of the time hiking is spent among oak trees, while the other half follows along grassy open space.
