This loop trail at the southeast corner of Lake Chabot connects Ten Hills Trail, East Shore Trail, Floodplain Connector, and Bridge Connector. Begin where this trail intersects Ten Hills Trail near Ten Hills Trail's west end. This trail descends through open areas and forest to East Shore Trail, which it meets at a sharp angle. Continue straight ahead on this trail. In a few steps you'll meet the (unmarked) Floodplain Connector on the left, a route that bypasses Bridge Connector but may not be passable when flooded or very muddy.

Just ahead, this trail reaches the Bridge Connector, which turns left and descends a ladder to cross San Leandro Creek on a narrow bridge (no horses; walk bicycles) that leads to Honker Bay Trail and Live Oak Trail. This trail continues ahead, climbing through mostly oak forest, reaching its end at Ten Hills Trail. If you wish to return to your starting point, turn right and continue for about 250 yards on Ten Hills Trail.
