This trail follows a tributary creek very closely. During wet periods, the stream is flowing and some rock-hopping is necessary. Much of the trail is quite steep, and attention to foot placement is important. All but the far upper portion of this trail is shaded by large coast redwoods. This trail has two junctions with French Trail: French Trail proceeds southeast from the higher junction and northwest (toward West Ridge Trail) from the lower junction. Between Star Flower Trail and Stream Trail, this trail crosses the tributary creek once and the canyon's main stream once. A convenient bench is located just off the trail adjacent to the main stream and within sight of Stream Trail.
A cluster of Ladybugs navigates a downed branch along the Tres Sendas Trail.
