This ride features the Santa Ana River Trail (SART) almost in it's entirety. Starting at South Fork Campground, you'll follow the Santa Ana River trail from South Fork to Glass Road, then Santa Ana River Trail (SART) 2E03: Glass Road to Middle Control Road, where you'll climb up to Angelus Oaks on Middle Control Road before heading up Thomas Hunting Grounds Road (1N12) to Santa Ana River Trail (SART) 2E03: Thomas Hunting Grounds Section followed by another section of the Thomas Hunting Grounds Road (1N12) to the gate at Morton Ridge Road (1S13).

Ride uphill past the gate to do the whole route, keep going downhill past the gate to opt out of the final section of singletrack. It is between one and two hours from the gate to the end of the ride if you choose to complete the route. Pay attention to the time!

After a tough climb up to Morton Peak, more technical, exposed singletrack awaits to take you down the hill on Santa Ana River Trail (SART) 2E03: Morton Peak Section and into Mentone/Redlands where you'll finish at local brewery Hangar 24.

NOTE: When you reach the end of the Santa Ana River Trail (SART) 2E03: Morton Peak Section you'll take a right on Front Line Truck Road. Look for a small trail off to the left after climbing a hill to continue on the route shown here. OR if you prefer something less technical, continue on Front Line Road.

At your next option, take a LEFT towards Emerald Ave. Follow Emerald Ave to the gate where you'll meet up with the mapped route again.

The trail is exposed in many sections, so ride within your limits!
