This pristine undulating land is owned by Lehigh cement company. They have allowed us to build trail and ride on it for the past several years. If you are in the area, I highly encourage you to check it out and let us know how you liked them or if they can be improved. There are some really great views from the top. Daily individual use fee is a mere $5, or $35 annually for a family membership payable online via the website (www.tehachapitrails.com) or in person at the City of Tehachapi visitors center located on the corner of Curry and Tehachapi Blvd downtown. All proceeds are tax deductible and help us pay for our insurance and maintenance of these awesome trails.

Take your time and enjoy the scenery. You can get a fairly decent workout in a short ride or a few loops. The most common route is Aimee's Loop to Carcass Cutoff to Jane's Loop around to Warrior Loop then the new NICA section which wraps back around to the west and then Mifflin Loop. Any of them can be ridden in either direction so watch for traffic. Local route clue: From the northern most point of Mifflin Loop, head southwest through the g-outs and watch for a sharp left turn. If you keep left, you can catch a technical rocky section down through a ravine, keep right and you'll end up on the high speed run down the hill. Either way is the payoff for all of your hard work climbing. Have fun!

Night rides on these trails are also a BLAST. Check out our FB page to see when our next one is scheduled.

*NOTE*
***Shameless Plugs***

If you are coming in from out of town I highly recommend you make a day of it and visit Red House BBQ, The Shed, or TK Pizza. They not only support us, but they also have GREAT FOOD and CRAFT BEER.

If you need help with your bike while you're in our quaint little town, look no further than Cycle N Go at 121 East F Street, in downtown Tehachapi. Marvin Amato is a fantastic mechanic and he's VERY reasonable. He also has bikes for rent if you need a whip for your friend to thrash around for
