Pack Memorial MTB Trail

Overview

The Pack Memorial Trail is conveniently located off of Deep Creek Road. Available parking where Deep Creek Rd and Pack Memorial Trail meet. Grab your bike and gear (water and snacks) and start riding/climbing to the top. A fit mountain biker can make it to the top in about 1.5 - 2 hours. Beginner and intermediate riders can take 2.5 possibly 3 hours.

Once you get to the top, it's all downhill after that which takes a fraction of the time that it took to climb up. You also have the option to continue riding toward Bowen Ranch Rd for a loop (as shown). Turn back and lap the loop in either direction for another longer option. Please look at the Google map here.

When you first start, there will be very steep inclines. Very peaceful, quiet, and beautiful and the views that overlook the valleys are spectacular! This route is frequently travelled by mountain bikers so more than likely you won't be alone. This depends on the time and day of the week. There will be a couple of non-maintained forks when climbing, but just stay on the main trail/fire road (see the MTB Project mobile app to stay on course).
