This trail passes through mostly dry coastal sage scrub with several naturalized Peruvian pepper trees and large clumps of laurel-leaf sumac. There is very little shade.<br><br>Parking is available just north of the 210 Foothill Fwy at the terminus of Bonnie Cove Avenue.
