The trail begins with great speed and flow that can get steep and exposed at times. You'll launch through some interesting gullys that are very unique and one of the highlights of the ride. Check your speed through the first half of the trail as tight switchbacks will come up on you quick and many have loose or washed out soil. After a couple creek crossings and a fun technical boulder field you'll begin a short but technical climb that many will need to hike-a-bike for portions. After you begin to descend back down after the climb, the trail gets much more technical and scouting some of the lines before attempting is advisable.

Once you hit the fire road enjoy the bomb downhill and keep an eye out for the singletrack to split off on the right hand side. After this short section of smooth singletrack you'll eventually hit a paved road (N Ontare Rd.) where you'll want to continue straight ahead. Continue down the paved road following the trail signs until you see the singletrack continue once again straight ahead. After one more creek crossing you'll connect in with the Jesusita Trail.
