Middle Switchbacks

Overview

From the bottom, at the picnic bench, start up the singletrack on the right - this is called Middle Switchbacks. It's very steep at the bottom, and very steep at the top, but between the two is just right. It begins at the bottom in the trees, surrounded by green, and ends at the top on sandy, dry soil, exposed to the hot sun. Aside from a few small rock bumps, two sharp switchbacks, and a rut up the center of the top section, this trail is only slightly hard.
