Many riders would consider this an intermediate/difficult trail (blue/black), but compared to other trails in the area, it is one of the more challenging. So I went with the single black diamond rating.<br><br>There are a number of steep sections with boulders and rock clumps embedded into the trail. There are also slopes with loose rocks. Be very careful as you pick your way down this shifting trail surface.<br><br>More than halfway down, the trail crosses over Chutes. The steep rock face you have to descend here is gnarly. If you go right to bypass it, down a short section of Chutes, there is a small connector on the left that will reconnect to Chutes Ridgeline.
