Trail to an overlook with a picnic bench. The first half climbs to a ridge using flowing, switchback singletrack; the second half is a dirt fire-road that runs along a ridge. The grade is moderate except for a short 100m section. <br><br>At the 1.3 mile mark of the Discovery Loop, take a left and proceed uphill. There are sign posts that are color coded. Follow the purple trail marker that says Panhandle.
