The trail Starts just south of San Juan Hot Springs and ascend up a moderate hill for a couple miles after which the grades level off, though the trail still climbs. The trail becomes more rolling about 6 miles in. Hikers reach the turn up to Sitton Peak at about 7.5 miles and the trail ends at Four Corners at 8.8 miles.
